League of Women Voters General Membership Meeting

This meeting will feature a great topic: West Virginia: How bright is our economic future? Ted Boettner, Executive Director of the WV Center on Budget and Policy, will be our guest speaker. West Virginia faces enormous economic challenges. Low and stagnating wages, lack of population and labor force growth, high rates of poverty, and an energy based economy that faces boom and bust cycles all hamper sustainable development and economic progress. Mr. Boettner will explore these issues and how the state can chart a path toward shared prosperity!
