Voting voting voting! Please join us for the first JCDA meeting of the new year at 7 pm on January 25 at the Charles Town Library Meeting Room. We are starting the year with a meeting all about voting – the new Voter ID law, the new electronic voting machines, and information on voter registration. Nikki Painter, Chief Deputy Clerk for Voter Registration and Elections for Jefferson County, will be our speaker and she will be demonstrating the new voting machines. We can’t effectively Get Out The Vote until we understand the new requirements!This year, we are asking members to bring items to each meeting to donate to a charitable organization. For the month of January, we are donating dental hygiene products (toothpaste, toothbrush, dental floss, etc) to Jefferson County Community Ministries.
