There are three separate organizations that make up the Jefferson County Democrats.

JCDEC:  The Jefferson County Democratic Executive Committee (JCDEC) operates under the rules and regulations as set forth for the governance of the Democratic Party in West Virginia.  Members are elected in Democratic primaries in non-presidential election years.

JCDA: The mission of the Jefferson County Democratic Association (JCDA) is to expand and unite the Democratic Party in Jefferson County for the common cause and good of the Party; advocate for and disseminate information about Democratic Party principles and policies; encourage citizens to participate in the governmental process; and support Democratic candidates at the local, state, and national level.

EPYD: The Eastern Panhandle Young Democrats (EPYD) is the local club of the Young Democrats of West Virginia and the Young Democrats of America.  EPYD is organized as a federation to bring together and support Young Democrats and YD Chapters in Jefferson, Berkeley, and Morgan Counties.  It is governed by its membership and operated by an executive committee.  Membership is open to young adults, age 35 and under.
